For Squirrel Control I use a combination of live catch traps and air rifles for outdoor control and humane kill traps for internal areas such as loft spaces.
Under Schedule 9 of the WCA, it is illegal to release a grey squirrel into the wild, or allow one to escape. This means if you trap one, you are obliged to humanely dispatch it. You must not let it go as this act would be illegal.

I would like to commend you on the excellent job you did on helping to control the high numbers of Squirrels I had in my two hectare wood , the amount of damage done to the bird feeders was getting very expensive and the amount of food stolen was affecting the number of birds in the wood. Your methods of control have worked very well and I now have no problem at the moment but would be very pleased to have you return at any time and will be able to recommend you to my friends who have a problem.

The Grey Squirrel is a common sight in Woodland and Parks throughout the UK. Unfortunately they can become more of a pest when raiding bird feeders in people's gardens and making nests in roof spaces and lofts which could result in alot of expensive damage if they chew through any electric cables.
Squirrels make short work of many bird feeders and often they will end up on the floor spilling their contents which in turn can encourage Rats to the area.
The simple thing to do would be to stop feeding the Birds but if you are like myself and enjoy feeding and watching the Birds then please contact me to rid you of your Squirrel problem.
